The Generali Insurance Company is the provider of the private medical insurance you are entitled to as an SH scholar. You can get it after the Orientation Meeting (if you are a first year student) and at the beginning of each academic year (if you are a second, third... year student). You are entitled to it as long as you are an SH scholarship holder.
 

HOW CAN I USE THE GENERALI MEDICAL INSURANCE?

The most important thing regarding this insurance, whet you should never forget, that the very first step if you would like to see a doctor is to call the Hotline (the number of it is on the back of your card).
 

FROM WHEN CAN I USE MY INSURANCE?

You can use it from the next workday after you have signed the insurance contract at IRO.
 
WHAT IS NEEDED TO GET THE GENERALI INSURANCE?
A passport and a Hungarian telephone number (but you can give your Hungarian telephone number later as well).

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE GENERALI MEDICAL INSURANCE?

As a Stipendium Hungaricum scholar, no, you do not have to pay for it, since it is one of the benefits you are entitled to as a scholarship holder.

How can I get half of the price of my medicines back from the Generali Insurance Company?

Before paying for your medicines in the pharmacy, you will have to ask for an invoice, with your name and address (in Miskolc) written on it.
