The Uniqa Insurance Company is the provider of the private medical insurance you are entitled to as an SH scholar. You can get it after the Orientation Meeting (if you are a first year student) and at the beginning of each academic semester. You are entitled to it as long as you are an SH scholarship holder.
 

HOW CAN I USE THE UNIQA MEDICAL INSURANCE?

The most important thing regarding this insurance, what you should never forget, that the very first step if you would like to see a doctor is to call the Medical Hotline (the number of it is on your card).
 

FROM WHEN CAN I USE MY INSURANCE?

You can use it from the next workday after you have signed the insurance contract at IRO.

As a Stipendium Hungaricum scholar, no, you do not have to pay for it, since it is one of the benefits you are entitled to as a scholarship holder.
